Water!

Yesterday i went to see the Environmental Health Officer in skipton to enquire about registering our house as a Bed & Breakfast. I decided we were ready to start on the main house if not the cottage.
However, due to living in a village with private water supply, we have to meet 'EU regulations' regarding the quality of the water. Our water does not 'come up to scratch' currently & we would need to invest in a filtering system of some kind. sounds expensive!
I now need to talk to water experts. The requirements will be the same for the cottage, so at least by the time that's underway, i will have done the necessary research.
